Great Plains Honors Council

About

University of Texas-Pan American is a member institution of the Great Plains Honors Council (GPHC) and all GHP members are qualified to also become members of the GHPC.

The Great Plains Honors Council coordinates its activities with the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) and serves honors programs in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. Through its membership programs it encourages flow of information, ideas, fellowship and professional development.

Membership Information

Institutional dues are $50 per year ($100 for "sustainer" membership, $25 for first-time members).

Dues must be received by January 1 of each year.

Benefits

  • Spring conference: a three-day conference as well as the regional meeting at the fall convention of the National Collegiate Honors Council.

The 2013 conference will be hosted by the West Texas A&M University April 5-7, 2013 in Canyon, TX
