Dr. Ruth Crutchfield received her Doctorate in Speech Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in May 2010. She is currently Program Director and Associate Professor at The University of Texas-Pan American. Her experiences range from working as a speech-language pathologist in the school system, working with the geriatric population in a nursing home and outpatient facility, and working with the pediatric population in all scopes in an outpatient rehabilitative facility. Dr. Crutchfield's research mainly focuses on music therapy with bilingual children. She has attended various workshops from which she is able to draw a prescriptive treatment plan.
