Raul, a second-time recipient of the EE Alumni Scholarship, is a member of MAES, SHPE, IEEE, and NSCS. He plans to graduate with his BS in Electrical Engineering and hopefully continue on to pursue a master’s degree in the area as well.

Rosa Ybarra, a 20-year-old senior at The University of Texas-Pan American, has become the first UTPA student to land the coveted “Latina of the Year” award from the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA), earning her a $10,000 scholarship from the Big Four CPA firm Deloitte.
