Annual Phonathon
Each fall and spring, students phone alumni, parents and friends to ask for financial support for the UTPA Annual fund. The phonathon provides for a personal interaction between current students, former students, parents and friends. During this contact, students inform alumni, parents and friends about new developments at the University and also provide information about successes from the different colleges on campus. Direct Mail
Each year UTPA alumni, parents and friends are contacted through a direct mail campaign to inform them about the Annual Giving Program, its benefits and impact to the students, faculty and staff. The direct mail drive provides donors with an easy way to make a donation at their convenience.
What is the Annual Fund?
The Annual Fund is a yearly campaign that raises funds from alumni, parents and friends to help support activities within the different colleges of the University. This, in turn, will ensure students are given maximized opportunities to achieve their education goals.
Why is the Annual Fund Important?
Gifts to the Annual Fund support the day-to-day operations of the University. They help the following:
- Fund student scholarships
- Support student activities
- Enrich academic programs
Each gift, regardless of size, is appreciated and helps to strengthen UTPA’s goal of academic excellence.
Donations to the Annual Fund are generally unrestricted and can be used immediately where they are needed most.
