Prior to event, requestor must:

  • Submit liability waivers for each participant to WRSC
  • Show proof of liability insurance.
  • Purchase UTPA liability insurance.

General Reservation Rules (please also note our Facility Usage Policies)

  1. There will be NO ALCOHOL, NO GLASS CONTAINERS, and/or NO HOLES DUG OR PERMANENT FIXTURES ADDED.
  2. There will be NO BYCICLES inside our FACILITIES or VEHICLES on our FIELDS.
  3. You must be out of the facility before the scheduled conclusion of your event.
  4. Any damages or improper clean-up will be charged to the responsible party.
  5. An insurance policy may be required. Payment is non-refundable.
  6. Wellness and Recreational Sports is not liable for any charges incurred by the group reserving the facility, or injury to participants, or anyone hired for the event by the group reserving the facility.
  7. Approved special programs may allow children under 4 years of age into the facility.
  8. Swimmers must wear proper attire at all times.
  9. Climbers must wear proper attire at all times. Closed-toe shoes must be worn in climbing wall area.
  10. Facility and Climbing Wall waivers must be signed by each participant/guardian prior to using the facility.
  11. Failure to follow these rules may result in the group forfeiting its privilege to reserve facilities in the future.
  12. If funds or donations are collected the requestor must submit a Profit & Loss Statement to the University within 10 business days after the event. If the funds collected exceed the rental cost of the event, the requestor must turn over the additional funds to the University.
