Purpose
The goal of this procedure is to provide the steps necessary for a “Web Site Maintenance” request process

Scope
This procedure is intended for all Current Staff members of the Internet Services Department.

Prerequisites
A viable UTPA e-mail Account must be in existence (in order to be able to access the University server) and e-mail Account must be setup in webhelp@utpa.edu account to receive e-mail requests from UTPA community.

Web Developer

Procedure
- When initial request is received via E-mail, Web Developer who is on call for Webhelp should respond to the request.
- Web Developer will first respond to the customer that the request has been received and will notify the customer when the request is complete.
- Web Developer will begin to work on the request.
- First evaluate if the maintenance request is for a current live web site
- B. If it is a request for an assigned web site and is not yet online, forward request to respective Web Developer.
- Once request is complete, Web Developer will notify the customer that the request is completed.
