The University of Texas-Pan American is dedicated to serving a diverse population of students each contributing to the strength of the institution. Students who are veterans happen to do just that and the university is proud to assist these students who served our country.
The veteran service center assists students by certifying for education benefits, advocating for services that are necessary for veterans, developing projects to unite the university with our local community, providing counseling services specifically for veterans (not necessarily service connected), promoting student involvement and excellence with the UTPA Veteran Student Organization and National Honor Society.This center works with a high volume of students who are veterans and typically who need their education benefits.
