There are certain rights and responsibilities students must adhere to when participating in state and federal aid programs. It is the student's and /or parent's obligation to:
- Be the primary source for meeting the cost of education,
- Inform the Student Financial Services Office of any change in enrollment status,
- Complete all application forms accurately and in a timely manner,
- Provide correct information (misreporting information on financial aid forms is a violation of the law and may be considered a criminal offense that could result in indictment under the U.S. Criminal Code.)
- Use financial and funds solely for educational purposes,
- Promptly return all additional documentation, verification, corrections and/or new information requested by the Student Financial Services Office,
- Inform the Office of Admissions and Records of any address change,
- Submit your acceptance award letter prior to receipt of and,
- Read, understand and keep copies of all forms that you are asked to sign,
- Inform the Student Financial Services Office of any income change, including earnings from work, scholarships, etc.,
- Repay all loans according to the terms agreed upon at the time the loan was accepted and the promissory note signed, and
- Inform the Office of Admissions and Records of any changes to your current personal email address.
