What is the Residence Housing Association?
The best way to describe the Residence Housing Association is through our mission statement:
We commit to enriching and maintaining a comfortable and supportive living and learning community by representing residents' concerns, offering diverse programming, and providing desirable residential enhancements.
The main goal of the Residence Housing Association is to enhance campus life with energetic programming, while also representing residents' concerns. The Residence Housing Association has three primary goals:
- To represent residents' concerns on those issues that affect them
- To build strong communities within residential communities through innovative social, educational, and service programs
- To provide enhancement items in order to foster a more comfortable atmosphere
RHA represents on-campus students' concerns to the Department of Residnece Life and the university community. We send representatives to meet regularly and discuss resident concerns with the Student Union Advisory Board, Student Government Association, Food Services Committee, and the Parking Aid Traffic Committee.
RHA is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience while serving hundredes of residents. We are always seeking enthusiastic and energetic leaders who are willing to commit to the three-fold mission of RHA.
