Tutors in the Science Center work with groups of students in many freshman and sophomore-level Biology, Chemistry, and Physics classes.
When it is your first time to visit the center, check in with the assistant at the front desk. That person can direct you to one of the two supervisors or to a table where students from your class are meeting. Look for the brightly-colored group signs throughout the science area.
Science tutors advise you to bring your book and all notes from your class. These are tools you can work with as you are waiting for a tutor.
It is also important to come in with ample time. If you wait until the morning of your lab or big test, you may get help on only a few questions that you have.
