Supplemental Instruction

SI is a program that provides weekly review sessions on difficult concepts being reviewed in selected historically-difficult courses. The staff is composed of SI leaders who have taken the course at UTPA and were recommended by your instructor. Because of the close work being done in conjunction with your instructor, your SI leader can offer session attendees unique insights into how to prepare for tests and work with class material. Unfortunately, not all difficult classes can be assigned SI leaders because of funding limitations. Please check with the SI coordinator’s office at 665-2588 for a list of current semester courses.
