LAC Tutoring site

At no additional cost to you, the Learning Assistance Center (LAC) offers academic tutoring in both individual and group sessions. LAC tutors work with university students at all levels and are certified by the College Reading and Learning Association. Except for the Nelson-Denny Exam and the Computer-Assisted Instruction Center, tutorial services do not require an appointment.

Math Center
Tutors are available to help students with math classes. Individual tutoring and group review sessions are also available.

CAI Center
With PLATO, the Computer-Assisted Instruction Center offers individualized drills to students to enhance their basic skills in math, reading, and writing.

Science Lab
Science tutors work with freshman and sophomore level students in biology, chemistry, physical science, physics, and statics/dynamics.

Social Science Lab
Social Science tutors work with students at freshman and sophomore levels in History, Political Science, Spanish, Philosophy and French.

Writing Center
In the Writing Center, tutors assist students at the undergraduate and graduate levels in all disciplines.
