ADVANCED PLACEMENT SUMMER INSTITUTES

Welcome!

In cooperation with the College Board, UTPA sponsors Advanced Placement Summer Institutes in a wide variety of academic disciplines. These intensive five-day training sessions prepare high school and middle school teachers to teach Advanced Placement and Pre-AP courses.

UT Pan American supports the Advanced Placement program by offering AP credit to entering freshmen and also promotes student participation in both the AP program and Concurrent Enrollment through the University Scholars four-year tuition and fees scholarship.
