The Multicultural Center exists to provide a value and appreciation for diverse people and experiences through programs and services. The University community respects cultural uniqueness and hopes to prepare students to live and work in a diverse world in which cultural differences can be celebrated. In addition, the Multicultural Center provides support and services to ethnic and cultural student organizations. UTPA is proud to house several multicultural student organizations, such as the Asian American Association, the Indian Culture Association, and the International Student Association.
