The University of Texas-Pan American cheerleaders are ambassadors for the University on campus and in the community. The purpose of the UTPA Cheerleading Program is to support UTPA athletic teams, increase fan involvement and generate enthusiasm, promote school spirit on and off campus, and to represent UTPA Students and Alumni at University functions and public appearances.
