Weight Room Orientations: This orientation will allow you to gain some basic knowledge about our weight room area. A Weight/Cardio staff member will show you basic aspects of the machines such as, how to adjust the weight, how to adjust the seat, and what the various knobs and levers do. They will also show you how to use and get started on the various cardio equipment. Individual orientations can be done at any time. Groups of 5 or more can make a group appointment by contacting Issac Guerra or Galen Hanson at 292-7808.


Women on Weights: This area is located away from the free weight to offer women a separate area to workout. This area contains smaller dumb bells and a women specific workout.


Beginner Workout: Want to work out but don’t know how to get started? Try out our new Beginner workout   guide. This program is set up to make your workouts as simple as possible using a color coded system. Each color represents a different muscle group. Each machine is labeled with a colored number representing the muscle group being worked. Use the easy to read color spectrum to complete a full body workout. See one of the Weight/Cardio employees for more information.


Fitness Assessments: Interested in ‘knowing your numbers’? Sign-up for a fitness assessment at the WRSC. We will provide your blood pressure reading, show you how to find your max heart rate, assess your flexibility and cover circumference measurements on your arms, chest, waist and hips. Make your appointment today by signing up with any weight/cardio staff member.
