Swimming Stroke Camp

FOCUS OF CAMP

The focus of the UTPA swim camp is mainly on stroke and turn technique. Swimmers will be instructed in all 4 strokes with the main goal being to improve stroke techniques efficiency. Daily classes are limited in size to maximize individual instruction, providing each student with a personal approach to improving their technique. Coach Mitchell has developed some of the top swimmers in the United States and will use these techniques to help each swimmer maximize their potential.

Swimmers should have a competitive background in either USA year round swimming, High School swimming or summer team swimming. This is not a “learn to swim” program. All levels of competitive swimmers are welcome. Classes will focus exclusively on technique with very little training or conditioning offered. This is a unique opportunity to work with one of the most experienced coaches in the United States and improve your swimming skills.
