The Valley Outreach Center (VOC) is an initiative of the University of Texas-Pan American's (UTPA) Department of College Access and Support Programs with the aim of providing outreach services to public schools and others in the community in support of the "Closing the Gaps" and "College for Texans" initiatives.
- The Mother-Daughter Program is an intervention program for young women in 7th-8th grades and their mothers. The program encourages and supports completion of high school and the pursuit of a higher education, while preparing students and mothers to reach out to peers with college access information through participation in High School Go Centers.

- UTPA Go Center and Collegiate G-Force (CGF) Mentors offer educational support and training services to Rio Grande Valley (RGV) Middle and High Schools and the general community. A Go Center is located at either a middle or high school where students can get assitance on how they can be better prepared to attend a college or univeristy. The CGF Mentors are college students that promote and educate all students visiting the Go-Center on any topic related to higher education.

- Pre-College Academic Programs works with UTPA academic departments to develop and co-sponsor academic enrichment programs for pre-college age youth. PCAP promotes pre-college academic programs, registers participants, and coordinates student life services associated with the programs.
