Program Description
The High School Equivalency Program (HEP) is a free federally-funded program that assists migrant and seasonal farm workers, ranchers, fishers, and persons working in agriculturally-related activities, and their eligible family members, earn their General Education Development (GED) certificate.
The goal of HEP is to help students enhance their life skills and knowledge so that they may qualify for more rewarding employment or for entry into vocational or technical schools, two-year community colleges, four-year universities or the military services.
