Educational Talent Search is a federally-funded early intervention outreach program. The objective is to assist participants in the acquisition of skills that will prepare them for entry into the college of their choice. Participants receive a variety of services which include: counseling; academic advisement; assistance with financial aid and admissions; study skills, career exploration, interest inventories; visits to post secondary institutions and job sites. The program serves over 800 students each academic year.

Our Mission

Educational Talent Search (ETS) is a federal TRiO program that supports the mission of The University of Texas-Pan American by serving first generation, low income students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education. ETS is committed to provide a comprehensive plan of service which will poster and facilitate completion of secondary school and enrollment into post secondary education.
