The Department of College Access and Support Programs (CASP) at The University of Texas-Pan American houses several distinct programs that assist students in preparing for higher education or provide support during their first year of college. The programs include:

News & Events

The College Access & Support Programs Office is located in the Historic Emilia Shunior Ramirez Hall, which was inducted into the Texas Historical Commission in 2007.  The Building is named after Hidalgo County Native Emilia Shunior Ramirez, who graduated from Edinburg High School in 1919.  Her Masters Thesis at UT-Austin was on Children of Illegal Mexican Immigrants in South Texas.
