Freshmen Transfer Graduate International Re-Admission

This bilingual exhibition combines thrilling science, solid educational credentials, and blockbuster appeal to present the story of the largest, most complete, and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex ever unearthed. At a heart-stopping 42 feet long and 12 feet high, Sue is remarkable because of her size, completeness, and quality of preservation. A spectacular, full-sized cast of Sue’s skeleton is the centerpiece of this traveling exhibition, surrounded by interactive pods exploring the paleontology that has helped scientists reconstruct Sue’s life and legacy. This exhibition demonstrates how T. rex was monstrous yet mortal and connects with visitors of all ages and abilities.

Interactive pods, touchable replicas, two videos, and colorful graphics set the stage for a visceral experience using a combination of visual, tactile, audible, and aromatic activities. Each interactive is accompanied by text panels with scientific content from Field Museum paleontologists, and all text is in English and Spanish.

McDonald'sThis exhibit was created by The Field Museum, Chicago, and made possible through the generosity of McDonald’s Corporation.
