There are approximately two hundred student organizations registered with the Student Government Association (SGA) at UTPA.  Click here to learn more about student organizations from UTPA’s Office of Student Development.   SGA includes eco-friendly activities such as ride/share and an environmental awareness survey on their website.  The Student Union partners with SGA on the ride/share. 

  ENVIRONMENTAL AWARENESS CLUB (EAC) - this club is one of its kind at UTPA, with a focus on protecting the environment as well as generating awareness on campus and in the community.  The EAC student organization sponsors events and activities year-round with the university and community.  Find out more about the EAC on their facebook page to learn more about when and where they meet.

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY UTPA – Students in this organization are committed to making a difference in their community by lending their labor and support in service projects.  This club performs a much-needed role in the Rio Grande Valley, working to improve homes in low-income neighborhoods.  Become more involved with Habitat for Humanity on their facebook page.
