Laser Safety Program
Lasers are regulated by the Texas Department State Health Services, Radiation Control, in Texas Administrative Code (TAC), Part 25, Section 289.301 (the Code). The University of Texas - Pan American to comply with the Code, has established a Laser Safety Program. The purpose of the Program is to provide clear guidance for use of regulated Lasers, and to provide references for those who wish to learn more about safe use of Lasers.
