The main goal of the UTPA Indoor Air Quality Program is to provide for a clean and sanitary indoor workplace. The program consists of sampling, monitoring, and surveying all buildings on the UTPA campus. Annual ventilation surveys shall be conducted by the Environmental Health & Safety Department on UTPA laboratory hoods and local exhaust ventilation systems designed to control emission of indoor air contaminants.
