Material Safety Data Sheets
Introduction
Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS's) provide valuable information on chemicals as well as procedures for handling and working with a substance safely. The MSDS includes important information such as physical data (boiling point, flash point, etc.), health effects, toxicity, first aid, storage, disposal, personal protective equipment, and spill/leak procedures.
Obtaining an MSDS
1. Call the DEHS (381-3690)
2. Write or call the manufacturer or distributor
3. Via the EHSRM web page links (located below)
