Online Parking Citation Appeals

To submit an online parking appeal follow these steps:

  1. Go to http://assist.panam.edu
  2. Select Student Services
  3. Enter your Student ID and PIN
  4. Select “Parking Citation Appeals”
  5. Fill out forms and submit.
THE TRAFFIC APPEALS PROCESS EXISTS TO GIVE APPELLANTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEMONSTRATE THAT THEY DID NOT VIOLATE TRAFFIC OR PARKING REGULATIONS. THE APPEALS PROCEDURE IS NOT AN AVENUE FOR EXPRESSING ONE’S DISAGREEMENT WITH TRAFFIC AND PARKING REGULATIONS.

Appeals May Not Be Considered For the Following Reasons:

  • Lost citation/never received citation
  • Parked illegally for a short time
  • Lack of parking spaces in a preferred location
  • Unread or misunderstood signs
  • Financial hardship
  • Ignorance of regulations
  • Late for class or meeting
  • Inclement weather
  • Another student/faculty/staff advised me to park there

For additional information or to appeal your citation in person, please call or visit Parking Services (381-2738, ASF 1.201)
  • Citations may be appealed within ten (10) calendar days from the date of citation.
  • All appeals are final.
  • Available only for students who have access to ASSIST.
