It is the responsibility of the University faculty and staff to know and follow all emergency procedures.  It is also their responsibility to provide guidance to all students and visitors under their direction in the event of an emergency.
The University of Texas-Pan American (UTPA) Police Department is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and is prepared to respond to any type of campus emergency.
