Sexual Harassment Compliance

 The University of Texas-Pan American is under a mandate from the State of Texas and from the Texas Commission for Human Resources (TCHR) to train all employees on the laws regarding discrimination and sexual harassment within 30 days of hire. (Texas Labor Code 21.010).

All university employees are required to review the Discrimination, Sexual Harassment and Sexual Misconduct Compliance course and turn in a completed verification form to The Office of Human Resources.

Step 2: Select one of the appropriate verification forms, complete information, and return to The Office of Human Resources via campus mail, personal drop-off, or submit fax to 292-7209. Employees should also keep a copy for their own personal documentation.

This training is mandated by Texas Labor Code Policy Section 21.010 and must be completed within 30 days upon hire for all state employees (direct-wage, work-study, faculty and staff).

 

Department directors/supervisors will receive a listing of individuals in their division/college who need to complete the training.
