The Writing Center consists of two areas: a computer lab classroom, and an individual tutorial area. The computer lab has thirty state-of-the-art computers available for student drop-in use. Occasionally, workshops are held in the computer classroom. The tutorial area of the UWC offers additional computers for students to use, the main tutorial area also provides tables where tutors work face-to-face with individual students. All students may use the center on a drop-in basis, no appointment necessary. Tutor consultations are provided free of charge.
