Account Acceptance and Activation

The OSP is authorized to negotiate research contracts on behalf of the University. Negotiations may include revision to the period of performance, budget, scope of work and/or other terms and conditions. Revisions in the scope of work or budget must be prepared by the PI/PD and routed through the OSP for review and approval.

Award Orientation

In an effort to assist researchers in understanding the terms and conditions of the award, the OSP has instituted Project Initiation Meeting (PIM) for Principal Investigators/Project Directors who receives a new award. The PIMs are held in the OSP. Also in attendance at these meetings are Grants & Contracts personnel, and grant coordinators.
