He was raised in the home of Lázaro Cárdenas, the President of Mexico who was known in the US as “the number-one Communist in Latin America. The author was a pilot in the Mexican Air Force. During the Bay of Pigs Invasion in Cuba in 1961, Alejandro Fedorenko counseled the Russians who wanted to launch nuclear missiles against the US.
