This preparation course is an intensive 5 week program (in class and online), designed to help students prepare and improve their performance on the computer-adaptive Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). The course includes 30-hrs of classroom instruction (quantitative and verbal parts of the GMAT) with 2 practice tests in the beginning and the end of the course as well as numerous online assignments for practice purposes. Throughout the course the instructors will share and apply test-taking strategies and insights into the GMAT. |

Instructors:Klaus Beckmann (Quantitative Section):Klaus Beckmann received his B.S. degree in business law from the Leuphana University in Lueneburg, Germany. He joined the University of Texas-Pan American in 2008, and is currently studying for his PhD in Business Administration with concentration in finance. Klaus Beckmann has 4 years of international work experience in the banking sector and is tutoring the GMAT Prep Course since 2008 every semester. Matt Mire (Verbal Section):Mr. Mire received his Bachelors of Science degree in Agribusiness from Texas A&M - Kingsville. He is currently enrolled in the MBA program here at the University of Texas – Pan American. Mr. Mire has 8 ½ years of teaching experience in post secondary education with a focus on Agribusiness. Mr. Mire has been teaching the qualitative section for the GMAT Prep course for the past year and is looking forward to another successful year. |

Program Schedule:Fridays 6 - 9 p.m, Saturdays 9 a.m - 12 p.m This course includes online practice tests which will be administered in a computer lab within the College of Business. |

Registration Fee: Early Bird $200The registration will remain open until 3 days prior to the start date. The fee does not cover the cost of study guide. It is recommended that students purchase the Official Guide for GMAT review, 13th Edition, prior to the course start date. |
