Welcome to the UTPA McAllen Teaching Site web site, your gateway to activities held at our new state-of-the-art teaching facility conveniently located at the Main Place Shopping Center adjacent to La Plaza Mall . UTPA is very pleased to be partnering with the City of McAllen to offer greater access to our higher education offerings. Our primary purpose is to provide an exceptional teaching/learning experience, designed to meet the changing needs of our students through the creation of a student centered intellectually stimulating multicultural learning environment that promotes life-long learning.

The new UTPA McAllen Teaching Site serves a diverse population of adult learners who are looking for opportunities to enhance their careers through graduate and upper-division undergraduate academic courses as well as professional continuing education opportunities customized to their learning needs. Young adults will be able to take advantage of our English Language Institute and college test preparation programs. We look forward to serving the community in a most effective and efficient way.
