Reserve a Group Study Room
Need a study room? The Library is now taking reservations for groups of 3 or more for Group Study Rooms on the Library's 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. Reserve a room now through our convenient room reservation system. Once you reserve a room, you will receive an email requesting that you confirm your reservation. If you do not confirm your reservation, your room will not be reserved. Please make sure to confirm your reservation!

Room Reservation FAQ
Who can reserve a room?
All current UTPA students with a group of 3 or more.
For how long?
Up to 2 hours at a time. Only 2 reservations allowed at a time. You can reserve up to 3 days in advance. If the room is not occupied within the first 10 minutes of the reservation start time, the reservation may be cancelled.
How do I reserve a room?
Visit one of the Group Study Room websites above and select a time slot. You can also watch an in-depth tutorial.
How can I cancel my reservation?
Click on the "cancel reservation" link in your confirmation email to cancel your reservation.
What if I don't receive a confirmation email?
Check your junk mail folder. If you still don't see a confirmation email message, call us at 665-2752 or text us to verify or cancel your reservation.
Do I need to pick up a key?
You will NOT need to pick up a key. All rooms will be kept unlocked.
Where are they located?
What about supplies?
No outside markers can be used on whiteboards or Smart Boards. Items needed for boards are available at the 3rd floor service desk with proper ID.
Never leave any belongings unattended in the rooms, as you are solely responsible for your personal belongings. If this occurs, library staff will remove the belongings from the room. The removed items will be taken to the Circulation Department and held there until they are claimed. Items not claimed will be turned over to the campus police at the end of the shift. To report any misuse of rooms, email, text, or chat with us.
Reserve Your Study Room!
If you are in a group study room on the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th floor, and you have not reserved it, the room may belong to someone else. Avoid this situation by making sure you reserve your room first!
