Biography

Dr. Janis Feldman PictureExperience in all aspects of mental health working in private, public, administrative sectors, with children/adults/families/communities in national and international settings as clinitian, administrator, and program developer.

Research Interest

U.S./Mexico border Latina adolescent health and sexual health issues; teenage pregnancy and lowering births risks among Latinas and other minority populations; minimizing health care disparities in infants, children, and adolescent minority populations along the border of South Texas.

Teaching Interests

Mental health. Latina/o cultural issues. Individual, family, and group practice.

Social Work Licensure

Dr. Feldman is certified by Academy of Certified Social Workers (ACSW) and has current LCSW licensure in Florida
