Biography
Dr. Pittman is a seasoned and global social work educator. In recent years she has taught in Peru, Costa Rica, Thailand, Kenya, Mexico and Italy. She is also an international development practitioner and has years of experience as an academic administer. She loves working with students as their life-long mentor. Dr. Pittman brings her love for teaching and research to her faculty role here at UTPA. But her role as wife, grandmother of five, and mother of four talented and great looking sons is what she cherished the most.
