Comments: Student will attend 30 hour training, conduct home and school visits, have meeting with foster parents and Child Placing Agency; will attned court hearings and prepare court reports.

Comments: Students will work with general student population; age varies according to school assigned. Work with individual groups, and crisis situations to improve coping skills and optimize academic performance for all students.

Hildalgo County Health Department

Size: Able to accept 2-3 BSW students

Time: Some after hours work that include attending Case Manager Coalition Committe meetings;NASW, work on setting up a non-profit agency

Comments: Students will complete intake and assessments; will assist in updating county resource manual; will travel over 50% of Hildalgo County to provide servicves to 7 clinics at a BSW level.

Edinburg Regional Medical Center

Comments: Students will provide services to patients while in inpatient hospital. This will unclude assessments, regerrals, discharge planning, support to patients and families.

Unique Kare Children's Services

Size: Able to accept 1 BSW & 1 MSSW student

Time: Licensed BSW working on MSSW can complete practicum on evenings/weekend

Comment: BSW students to assist children and families provider case management services. MSSW students and families-Psychosocial assessments during face to face individual name visits, supportive counseling attention coalition mutness, and facilites support group sessions.

Time: Can facilitate evening and weekend work

Description: BSW student will work with individuals and groups and coordinate special events as they provide services to families and seventh and eighth grade girls.

Time: Decision to provide evening/weekend will be determined on an individual basis

Description: BSW student will provide case management, rehabilitative services, treatment plans, home visits, and assisting clients access community resources; MSSW student will conduct triage assessments, mental health crisis screenings and Counseling(CBT)
