Guerra Honors Program Mission Statement:

To provide capable and interested undergraduate students at the University of Texas-Pan American a means of enriching their college education; to provide the means to study, to conduct research, and exchange ideas in a challenging and supportive academic environment through honors classes, independents studies classes, guest speakers, seminars, educational travel, an honor society, and developmental seminars.

Guerra Honors Program Vision Statement:

The Rafael A. "Felo" and Carmen Guerra Honors Program aspires to recruit high-ability students, to challenge them with a rigorous curriculum, and to support them with close advising and co-curricular programming. Moreover, the program seeks to provide state-of-the-art facilities, off-campus study experiences, and cultural programming and support for bright and motivated students seeking an intellectual home within the university.
