Provisional Acceptance

Student is accepted into the next semester and admitted to the Honor’s Program contingent on keeping one’s grades 3.3 or higher during first semester at UTPA.

"Good Standing"

Student maintains a GPA of 3.3 or higher and takes an Honors Course each year.

Probation & Dismissal

Student has one semester to bring their GPA to 3.3 or higher. If the student is unable to raise their GPA to 3.3 or higher in the semester following probation, or if the student fails to take an Honors Course each semester, the student will be dismissed from the Honors Program.

**Admittance to the Honors Program is based on the assessment and judgment of the Director.
