Graduation Deadlines

Students intending to defend Fall of 2009 must defend their thesis prior to November 20, 2009. Students must consult with advisors and the Director to avoid scheduling conflicts. Thesis drafts must be to committee and director by November 6, 2009.

Students intending to defend Spring of 2010 must defend their thesis prior to April 9, 2010 . Students must consult with advisors and the Director to avoid scheduling conflicts. Thesis drafts must be to committee and director by March 26, 2010.

All drafts must be submitted to committee members and the Director at least 10 working days before the defense date!

***Students who miss these deadlines will not be able to graduate that semester from the honors program.***

Honors Recognition Ceremony and Reception for the 2009-2010 academic year  is scheduled for Friday April 16, 2010.

Honors Contracts

Honors contracts are due on September 18, 2009.

*Only students who are official members of the Guerra Honors Program may submit an honors contract.

Scholarship Availability & Deadlines

Honors Merit Scholarships applications for academic year 2010- 2011 must be submitted through the Students Financial Services Excellence Scholarship by 1 December 2009.

The 2010 Honors Study Abroad Scholarship Application is now available, Deadline is November 20, 2009. The application can be found here.
