Deadlines 2012-2013

Graduation Deadlines

Students intending to graduate Spring of 2013 must defend their thesis prior to Friday, April 26, 2013 . Students must consult with advisors and the GHP Office to avoid scheduling conflicts. Thesis drafts must be submitted to the committee and GHP Office before your oral thesis presentation, which is ten working days before. Then final drafts must be submitted to the committee and GHP Office ten working days after your oral presentation and have edited your thesis as recommended by your committee.

Thesis drafts must be submitted to committee and GHP Office to avoid scheduling conflicts. Thesis drafts must be submitted to the committee and GHP Office before your oral thesis presentation, which is ten working days before. Then final drafts must be submitted to the committee and GHP Office ten working days after your oral presentation and have edited your thesis as recommended by your committee.

REMINDER: All drafts must be submitted to committee members and the GHP Office at least 10 working days before the defense date!

***Students who miss these deadlines will not be able to graduate that semester from the honors program.***

Honors Recognition Ceremony and Reception for the 2012-2013 academic year  is scheduled for Wednesday April 24, 2013, from 6-9pm.

Honors Contracts

STUDENTS: Honors Course by Contract are due on Friday, February 01, 2013. Student Evaluation Forms are due by Friday, May 03, 2013.

*Only students who are official members of the Guerra Honors Program may submit an honors contract.

Scholarship Availability & Deadlines

Honors Merit Scholarships applications for academic year 2012-2013 must be submitted through the Students Financial Services Excellence Scholarship by January 15, 2013.

The 2013 Honors Study Abroad Scholarship Application will be available to Honors Students that will be joining the Study Abroad Course. These students will be notified by email of deadline to sumbit their application to the Director of GHP.
