Chinese Language and Culture

As the world becomes more interdependent, the need for professionals with culture and language skills has exponentially increased. While in the past Romance languages (such as French and Spanish) were in high demand, currently the demand for employees with expertise in Chinese culture and Mandarin language has become much more critical. In order to increase the availability of culture and language proficiency, students must become culturally aware early in their academic careers. The University of Texas-Pan American is excited to announce the Chinese language and culture high school summer institute which will help prepare high school students for an understanding of the Chinese language and culture.
