Biology Club

Mission and Purpose

The purpose of the Biology Club is both literary and educational. We will strive to address, achieve, and provide the following:
" Confer distinction for high achievement in biology in undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies
" Provide cultural stimulation and promote interest in biology for UTPA students, and for the surrounding community
" Foster all aspects of excelling in the discipline of biology
" Promote exemplary character and good fellowship
" Provide interaction for members with professionals in various fields of biology
" Participate in community service projects
" Exhibit high standards of academic excellence

Check out our bulletin board in the second floor hallway of the Science Building for ongoing information and opportunities.

Meeting Schedule

We meet every first and third Tuesday of the month in the Science Building, Room 1.288 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. You are welcome to join at any point in the semester, and begin getting involved and enjoy the benefits of belonging to this club.
