Graduate Program


Welcome to the web site for the Master of Arts (M.A.) Degree Program in Psychology at the University of Texas – Pan American! Our aim is to provide high quality instruction in order to assist our students to meet their educational and career objectives, as well as to support allied programs on our campus.

Our department offers the following Master's degree programs:

  • Clinical psychology M.A. (non-thesis)
  • Clinical psychology M.A. (thesis)
  • Experimental psychology M.A. (thesis)

All programs also offer a Board Certified Behavior Analyst [BCBA] concentration.

A BCBA Certificate Program is also offered by our department for individuals who already hold a Master’s degree in Education or Psychology. It provides coursework and experience needed to sit for the national BCBA exam.
