General Overview

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences, is one of the six Colleges of the University of Texas-Pan American. It is composed of six departments: Political Science, Sociology, Psychology & Anthropology, Criminal Justice, Military Science, the Public Administration Program, and the Global Security Studies Program. The faculty in these areas are outstanding professors and scholars.

The Baccalaureate in General Studies program allows students to develop their own academic concentrations by choosing three minors instead of the traditional single major & minor.
