ILD & PDAS Training for fall ‘09
The Department of Educational Leadership is now offering the ILD and PDAS training. The ILD training will be offered during the fall ’09 semester.
The ILD & PDAS training will be offered through the Continuing Education Department at UTPA. It will still be offered by Dr. Maria Roberts in the UTPA McAllen Teaching Site located at 1800 S. Main Street, McAllen, TX. Visit www.utpa.edu/mcallen for details on location.
The fee for the ILD is $700.00. The certification fee and training manual ($120.00) will be deducted from the $700.00.
Students who register for the ILD may register for the PDAS training. The PDAS training is $350.00. The certification fee and training manual ($120.00) will be deducted from the $350.00.
DATES for the trainings:
The ILD training will be on Saturdays in Sept. & Oct.
1st week = Sept 19th
2nd week= Sept 26th
3rd week= Oct 10th
4th week= Oct 17th
5th week= Oct 24th
The PDAS training will be on Saturdays in Oct. & Nov.
1st week= Oct 31st
2nd week= Nov 7th
3rd week= Nov 14th
All courses will be held from 8am-5pm at the McAllen Teaching Center. Please call the office of Educational Leadership for additional information.
If you are interested in registering for the trainings, go to (www.utpa.edu/ce). Once you are in the Continuing Education Department website, go to Upcoming Events. Under Upcoming Events is the link to register for the ILD & PDAS trainings. Fill out the information requested. Payments can be made using credit card in advance by calling Payment & Collection office or onsite with cash or check on the first day of training. There will be someone to collect it and provide you a receipt.
