The TExES Assessment Office has a TExES Coordinator who assists graduate students in the preparation for the Texas Examinations of Educator Standards (TExES). The office has software to assist students with review sessions and test-taking strategies for the principal and superintendent exams. The Office is located at 3.234 in the Education Building. The phone number is 665-3437. Office hours are 9-5 pm.

Texas law requires all individuals seeking educator certification to pass examinations in the areas in which they seek certification. Students admitted to the Principal Program are required to take a TExES Representative Exam (Practice Test) during the internship (EDUL 6398).
