Masters of Business Administration (MBA)

Mission

The mission of the MBA Program at The University of Texas-Pan American is to provide South Texas with a high quality graduate business educational program comparable to the leading regional business education institutions in the nation. Educational excellence is enhanced by faculty engaged in research and creative activity as well as professional service to the profession, the community, and the University.

Overview

The MBA Program is fully accredited by the AACSB International (the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). AACSB International-Accreditation is the hallmark of excellence in management education; it represents the highest standard of achievement for business schools worldwide.

The MBA degree is a broad-based program designed to give the student exposure to management and analytical decision-making skills necessary to function in a changing business environment. We offer two different plans for students to obtain an MBA degree from UT-Pan American: the on-site Professional MBA program, and the MBA on-line program. Having a bachelors degree in a business discipline is not required for either program.
