The Pan American Collaboration for Ethics in the Professions (PACE) was established in 2008 to:
- promote interdisciplinary research and engagement on issues in diverse fields of professional ethics;
- provide a location to facilitate research in, discussion of, and funding for cross-cultural issues with serious ethical import which are of local, national, and international significance; and
- establish UTPA as a significant center for ethics in the professions in several key areas through academic research and through continuing education for professionals.
