Office of Continuing Education has teamed up with Knowsys Test Prep to offer this highly effective preparation course.

Instructors

Bobbie Myatt

Ms. Myatt is a certified Knowsys Instructor for GRE and SAT prep courses offered through the Office of Continuing Education. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations, and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from UT-Pan American. Bobbie serves as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Office of Graduate Studies at the UTPA Graduate School. She coordinates training workshops for the graduate students to improve their writing skills as well as social development skills to use in the workplace environment. She plans, prepares and presents the workshops monthly and provides all students an opportunity to obtain one-on-one skill building sessions throughout the academic year. She has more than 20 years of professional management experience in sales and marketing, both direct and indirect.

Ivan Silva

Mr. Silva is a certified Knowsys Instructor for GRE and SAT test prep courses offered through the Office of Continuing Education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and Public Relations, and a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from UT-Pan American. At the present time Ivan serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Office of Graduate Studies at the UTPA Graduate School and also serves as Creative Director and Communication Consultant at Iconic Deity D.H. Iván provides services to businesses in the South Texas region in social media strategy, online communication, creative brand design and functional user interface design. Ivan holds over ten years of experience of working and professional experience in management, sales and marketing.

Mr. Daqi Xin

Mr. Daqi Xin is a Certified Knowsys Instructor for quantitative sections of GRE and SAT prep courses offered through the Office of Continuing Education. He has a Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Statistics from China, and a Master of Science in Finance from Clark University. He received full scores in both GMAT and GRE quantitative section. Additionally, he is proficient in Math sections for SAT and GRE and is focused on helping students improve their problem-solving abilities and guide students to maximize their scores in the real test.

Registration

The course fee is $500 and includes GRE workbook, study guide, 2 practice test with individualized score reports, online resources, and 30 hours of classroom instruction.

The registration for this course is on a first come first served basis and closes a week before the start date.
